Youth experience the magic of transformation into Chinese opera characters – or ones they make up – through mask creation. Masks bring out character’s specific personality, moral traits, and emotional state at a glance.
Also included in the ticket price: your child attends the Festival’s presentation of, Painted Faces, Flowing Sleeves: A Showcase of Chinese Opera, with a deeper understanding.

- Participants will create a mask inspired by Chinese Opera characters, or one they imagine themselves.
