Lohin McKinnon VQA Black Sage Vineyard™ Collaboration Whisky

This smooth and refined Canadian single malt whisky was aged in bourbon casks, then finished for 6 months in VQA Black Sage Vineyard™ Pipe wine barrels, to add a rich, complex, and locally-inspired collaboration release.

Red Mahogany in colour, the aroma is earthy with notes of vanilla and prunes. The flavour is malty yet sweet, exuding big dark fruit and liquorice at the end. The finish is medium, zesty, and pleasantly drying on the roof of the mouth.
