AJ Megaman, the dancing doctor, returns from his medical studies to bring his exhuberance and joy to the challenge of creating and performing choreography.
Elder Quuia Charleson (Greg), Nuu chah nulth, is an ever present figure at Body Talk and this year will teach dances and songs, their cultural significance, proper use and protocol.
Dave Spirit Wolf Bodaly is of English descent and a First Nation’s member of Snuneymuxw First Nation in Nanaimo. He is an elder, knowledge keeper, cultural tour guide, artist, cedar weaver and photographer. Dave will weave story, protocol into the act of cedar bracelet weaving which participants take home with them.
Kyle Shepard is a whirlwind of creativity, blending music, theater, and spontaneity into performances that spark joy across generations. Kyle brings a spirit of play and possibility to everything he does.
Pricing is structured to be inclusive and pool resources in order to keep this program accessible to all.
