Karingana Wa Karingana: Reading African Tales | 45 min Reading Session | Kids & Adults | 11 AM, Saturday Feb 4th | Venue: Vancouver Island Regional Library (Harbourfront Branch)

Tania Amaral, born and raised in Mozambique, will invite kids to sit around in a circle and listen to African tales, fables and stories from Africa and challenge them to try to figure out – with her- what the lesson behind the story is. She will be reading stories in English as well as in Portuguese.
