Creative Response PDF
Bhairava was filmed around the ancient village of Hampi, in central Karnataka, India. The site is famous, not only for its spiritual and historical significance, but also for its epic landscape punctuated by massive boulders and the snaking Tungabhadra River.
In this creative response activity, we invite you to reimagine where Shantala dances. The sky and background have been removed, and only her silhouette remains in the foreground. Where else might she perform? Download the template here.
