Throughout the month of February, African Connections brings you a variety of cultural engagements with a North African focus, woven around a featured performance of Hervé Koubi’s What The Day Owes to the Night, a co-presentation between Crimson Coast Dance MainStage Series and the Port Theatre Spotlight Series.

Initiated, curated, and programmed by the founder of Afro Fusion Sharqi Dance, Tania Amaral, African Connections has been growing since February 2020 in partnership with Crimson Coast Dance Society. This annual initiative is fully dedicated to the expression, understanding, and celebration of African cultures.

Join us all month long for storytelling, dance workshops, music, thoughtful discussions,  a lecture, and a jaw dropping performance!
