Crimson Coast Dance is currently seeking an Administrator.
Permanent Part Time
20 hours per week
Remuneration: $17p/h

To assist with the daily administration of a non-profit arts organization, volunteer coordination, and facilitating front-of-house at our events. Developing and implementing social media, community outreach, and other promotional/marketing initiatives alongside Managing Administrator.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Administrator works in close partnership with the Managing Administrator, Artistic Director, and the Board to assist in general administration and publicity for Crimson Coast Dance Society. The Administrator is expected to undertake:

-Preparing registration and attendance sheets/statistics for mainstage events, dance classes and workshops.
-Preparing mail merge letters for direct mailings to members and patrons.
-Post-event follow-up and reporting. Preparing reports and communications, updating our database records to reflect event attendance, tracking and final reporting of accurate event statistics (audience attendance, workshop registrations, etc.).
-Sending out thank-you letters to stakeholders, as necessary.
-Preparing tax receipts for donors.
-Organizing various fundraising initiatives/events.
-Drafting effective time-lines and procedure documents.
-Preparing PayPal/Square monthly financial reports for the bookkeeper.
-Assist in other general day-to-day administrative duties and office communications via email, phone, social media etc.
-Marketing/Promotion & Publicity; assisting the Managing Administrator with marketing and communication of the Mainstage Season, Body Talk program, InFrinGinG Dance Festival; including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other regular social media posts, compiling and sending of promotional e-newsletters, and coordination of promotional outreach.
-Acts as a liaison between the CCDS and various media outlets (online, print, radio, etc.).
-Proofreading, editing, and updating event information on the organization website.
-Corporate Sponsor Stewardship; ensuring that all corporate sponsors receive exceptional representation and that sponsorship benefits are fulfilled for all sponsors according to their respective funding levels.
Production Assistance:
-Volunteer Coordination; assigning appropriate roles to volunteers for front-of-house, workshops, fundraising events and performances; keeping a record of hours and tasks completed; and maintaining meaningful relationships with all volunteers.
-Front-of-house/box-office coordination, and pre/post-event coordination.
-Artist Hospitality; ensuring that all travel, transportation, and accommodation arrangements remain current, including providing information of local amenities and directions to festival events.
-Ensuring that membership and Society information tables are present and displayed prominently at all performances/events.
